Wine & “Tees”!
September 18th, 2009Drop by REWIND (1002 Macleod Trail SE) for Wine & “Tees” on Wednesday, September 23 between 4:00 and 7:30 for a glass of wine and snacks.
Bring a t-shirt (more than 1 if you like) to swap and reconstruct into a “new” garment - a different style of t-shirt, skirt, bag, pillow, etc. We all love tees, continually buy them, and our favourite ones eventually become unwearable. This is a great way to transform something old into something new again!
We’ll have several patterns on hand for inspiration.
We won’t be reconstructing in the store, but instead take one or two home to redesign and bring back to sell.
We’ll set a price, and 50% of proceeds will go to charity, plus you’ll make a percentage and the store will make a small percentage.
We’ll also have a change purse on hand to drop any change/donation of your choice (if you wish) to support Making Changes, a local organization that helps women get back into the work force.Enjoy 15% off your purchase all day (11:00-7:30) including new items, and an additional discount off sale items.
