Go through your closet and pull out anything you haven’t worn in the last year. If it’s worn out, throw it out. If it’s a little dated but still in great condition, donate it to charity. If it’s a great item that doesn’t fit, doesn’t complement the rest of your wardrobe or you’re bored with it, consign it and make a return to put toward new purchases. Now go through all the items you still wear and ensure they are in fact still fashionable, fit properly and aren’t worn out. Organize by style (separate sweaters, tops, pants, etc.) then sort by colour. Do the same process with your shoes and accessories.
